  • The Play Date Dilemma

Okay Kansas City moms and dads, I need your help. One ongoing situation that we encounter in my home that I think many of you can relate to is the play date dilemma. That dilemma being, what do you do with the child who doesn’t have a friend over? I understand that she would like to join in with her sister and her friend, but I also understand that sister and friend would like some ...

  • I am stuck on band-aids...

However, I still try to teach my girls what I believe to be correct information.

For example, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse ...

  • Why Grandparents are MORE FUN

Do the grandparents in your children’s lives spoil them?  My girls are fortunate to have both sets of grandparents living and in good health. And so we have lots of spoiling that occurs.

We just returned from a week with my family. After a full week at Grandma and Grandpa’s I have a lot of “reprogramming” to do. When they were younger I would try to keep my girls on a schedule and limit ...
