I find it interesting that I don’t seem to get many things scratched off my to-do list, yet I always seem to be caught up on my friends’ latest Facebook posts. Odd, don’t you think?
In honor of those little things that have never quite made it off of my list, I’m declaring this my first and possibly last, “So What Are You Waiting For” Wednesday Post.
Typically, I’m the type of person who waits until I have a crisis before I realize I should have given the neighbor a spare house key or thrown some extra clothes for my kids into my bag. Being a mom has taught me that it is worth my time and sanity to plan ahead. So, what am I waiting for?
As for me, I’ve been meaning to enter a few different phone numbers into my cell phone. I keep thinking I should enter the numbers of the schools my older two children attend. I’d rather not remember I haven’t done this when something has come up and I need to call the school but am not near a computer. (I realize this isn’t a problem for you people who use the internet on your phone, we’re not quite there yet.) So, today is the day. I will look up the phone numbers, enter them, and save them. It’s such a simple thing to do, yet not nearly as fun as catching up on Facebook.
