A Rainy Afternoon

Yesterday, as you probably noticed, it rained. Aside from the three months I spent in Costa Rica during the rainy season, I'm not sure I've ever seen it pour for so long.

 

 

As I watched the sky get darker, I thought about some different indoor places the kids and I could spend the afternoon. There was Wonderscope, the library, and the gym. Of course, I knew I could check out the KCParent.com Calendar and find several other ideas.

 

 

Before I got to my computer to do just that, the rain started. It didn't take me long to decide that we'd spend the afternoon at home.

 

 

I baked a pan of brownies and we shared them while working our way through a new stack of library books. It was perfect. I'm actually looking forward to our next rainy day.

    I love rainy days....as long as there are not too many!  Snuggling in and reading books is my favorite, too!  Watching movies also works.

    Yesterday, we dodged the rain at Kaleidoscope and had lunch at Fritz's! It was great fun! This weekend, if the rain continues, we will probably make a trip to a museum. For more rainy day ideas, check:

    Reading books and spending time together at home seems delightful to me .Too many times we all feel like we have to be going somewhere and doing something fabulous to be having fun.
     When we all just need to treature the time just visiting and doing nearly nothing with each other!!:)
     Taking the time to do both is the best solution!!!! :)
