Hooray for Uniforms

My girls wear uniforms to school and for this, I am thankful. I realized how thankful I am for uniforms this week when we had picture day. It was an out of uniform day which should have been easy. But in going through their summer clothes it seems as if we don't own a whole lot that of warm-weather clothing that has sleeves. I even bought cute little pink matching dresses for them to wear, but they were sleeveless. So I went digging through closets and was able to come up with outfits and everything was good (and here's hoping that their hair was combed and they smiled pretty).

So here is my question to you-what are your thoughts on uniforms-pros, cons? It almost seems to me that following a dress code is harder than the uniforms. I'd love to hear from those who don't have uniforms-do you like it? Do you wish your kids had uniforms?
