Here comes Peter Cottontail.... it's time for our annual round up of Kansas City's Easter Egg Hunts, Shows, Parades, and Festivities!

The Easter Bunny Visits Crown Center Weekends Mar. 24-31 from Noon-4pm at Crown Center Shops Atrium, 2450 Grand Blvd., Kansas City, MO. The Easter Bunny greets children at Crown Center. A professional photographer will be taking pictures for a fee or visitors are welcome to bring their cameras.

Country Club Plaza Bunnies Mar. 2- Apr. 2 at Country Club Plaza, 41st and Wyandotte, Kansas City, MO. The Country Club Plaza makes its annual transformation into an Easter Wonderland this spring. The popular Plaza tradition brings colorful, larger-than-life bunnies and other springtime animals to the Plaza’s courtyards and street corners. Mermaid and Pomona Courtyards, on the west side of Seasons 52, are home to a lively collection of animals for children to play on, while the Easter bunnies line the Plaza’s sidewalks. Visit the Plaza on Easter Sunday for great brunches and see the Plaza Easter Bunnies and Wonderland Animals.

Ceramic Cafe Easter Egg Festival Mar. 2- 4 at Ceramic Cafe, 9510 Nall, Overland Park. Paint your own ceramic Easter eggs!

March 3

Spring Egg Dive: Blue Valley Activity Center Mar. 3 at Blue Valley Activity Center, 6545 W. 151st Street, Overland Park, KS. Come join the fun and find eggs Peter Rabbit hid in the pool. Dive for special eggs with big prizes! All kids receive a treat bag and can stay for Drop-in Swim. Children under age five must be accompanied by a swimming adult. Deadline to enroll 2/26.

March 17 

Easter Egg Dive: Grandview Mar. 17 from 10-11am at The View, 13500 Byars Rd, Grandview, MO. Enjoy a morning of fun, splashes, and dives! Register early for this free event because space is limited. Special guest: The Easter Bunny!

March 18

Egg Hunt for a Cause: Greenwood Mar. 18 from 12:30-4pm at Bliss Plaza Event Venue, 1303 W Main S, Greenwood, MO. There will be two Egg Hunts....one for adults and one for children! We will be supporting National Reading Awareness Month. Please feel free to donate gently used and new books.

March 23

Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt: Gladstone Mar. 23 from 7-9pm at Happy Rock Park, 76th & Antioch, Gladstone, MO.  $5/child. Games and activities along with the flashlight Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m. This program is for 7 years and younger. Please register ahead of time.

March 24

Breakfast with the Bunny March 24 from 9-10:30am at Paint, Glaze & Fire (12683 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS). Reservations required. Join us and the Easter Bunny for a continental breakfast, painting special Easter plates and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny! Continental breakfast offered to attending adults (maximum of 2 per family, due to seating limitations). You can choose to paint the plate yourself (we'll help with the foot prints!) or choose to have us complete the plate for you.  Options 1: Paint the design above (or your own) yourself: $25.00 per child/per plate,  Option 2: PGF Staff will complete the plate shown above: $32 per child/per plate.

Community Egg Hunt March 24 from 10am-Noon at Crosspoints Church (6824 Lackman Rd, Shawnee, KS). 

Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt: St. John's UMC/Arno Park Mar. 24 from 10am-12:30pm at St. John's UMC/Arno Park, 6900 Ward Parkway, Kansas City, MO. Begin the morning at 10:00am with a free “Chris Cakes” Pancake Breakfast for the first 150 people in our warm and welcoming “Brookside Hall” located in St. John’s UMC. Starting at 11:00am we will open the registration area for our Easter Egg Hunt right next door in spacious Arno Park. Also, sign-up your children for one of our many free door prizes. The Easter Egg Hunt will begin approximately at 11:20am--children 5 and under will hunt for eggs first and then immediately following the older kids will hunt for eggs! Following the Easter Egg Hunt stick around for your chance to get a photo with The Easter Bunny (so bring your camera), games, winners of the door prizes will be announced, a local balloon artist will be on hand to twist balloons into your favorite characters or animals and grab a bag of hot popcorn! THIS EVENT WILL HAPPEN RAIN OR SHINE--if the weather is rainy or extremely cold we will just have the event inside.

Brunch with the Bunny: Merriam Mar. 24 from 10-11:30am at Irene B. French Community Center, 5701 Merriam Dr., Merriam, KS. Families with children ages 2-9. $5 person/ Early Bird special until March 19 $6-person March 20-March 23rd. Bring your Easter basket and don that new Easter bonnet or spring outfit to come visit with the Easter Bunny. No crowds, just lots of fun, games, craft, face-painting, story time with Johnson County Library and yes, an EGG HUNT!

Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt: Blue Springs Mar. 24 from 7-9pm at Hidden Valley Park, 6500 NW Valley View Road, Blue Springs, MO. $5 per person. Hop on over and participate in our Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt! Help find over 2,000 eggs with your flashlight. Fee includes a bag full of candy, hot dogs and soda, and eggs that are filled with candy and local coupons. Registration Deadline: March 16th

Funny Bunny 5K-9 & Autism Egg Hunt Mar. 24 at Unity Village, 1901 NW Blue Parkway, Lee's Summit, MO. A 5k, egg hunt (3 hunts- special needs, neuro typical, and dog) and special needs resource fair. THREE egg hunt fields - special needs, siblings and friends and one for the DOGS!!!

Easter Egg-Stravaganza: Blue Springs Mar. 24 from 10am-Noon at Rotary Park, 600 NW Vesper Street, Blue Springs, MO. This FREE annual event is cosponsored with the Blue Springs Rotary Club! This event is held outdoors and will take place rain or shine. Specific times for each age group. Four hunting areas divided by age! Mini Train Rides! Zoo Mobile! Face Painting! Crafts! Photos with the Easter Bunny! 

Easter Egg Hunt: Grandview Mar. 24 from 10am-Noon at Shalimar Park Ball Fields, 7200 E. 155th Street, Grandview, MO. Kids will be divided by age group and will hunt for eggs on our new ball fields! The Easter Bunny and a few other special guests will be in attendance! This is a FREE event for kids ages 1-12!

Children's Easter Event Mar. 24  from 8-11am at Woods Chapel Church, 4725 NE Lakewood Way, Lee's Summit, MO.  Children will collect empty eggs and take them to the Gym to be filled as they learn about Easter through crafts, stories, and candy! Breakfast will be provided by Chris Cakes. Bring your friends!

Spring Jamboree & Egg Hunt Mar. 24 from 10am-Noon at Shoal Creek Living History Museum, 7000 NE Barry Rd, Kansas City, MO.  Easter egg hunt (bring your own basket), crafts, field games, and take pictures with the Easter Bunny and Mother Nature. Donations accepted with proceeds for museum improvements.

Easter Egg Hunt: Burlington Creek Mar. 24 from 10am-Noon at Burlington Creek, NW 63rd Terrace, Kansas City, MO. Egg hunt, Easter bunny, balloon twister, face painting, cookie decorating. NOTE: RAIN DATE SUNDAY March 25

City Wide Easter Egg Hunt in KC Mar. 24 from 10am-Noon at National World War 1 Museum and Memorial, 2 Memorial Dr., Kansas City, MO. Bring the kids and Easter baskets to enjoy some family fun at this gathering of community at one of Downtown Kansas City’s most famous landmarks. All are welcome, even those who don’t have kids! We’ll have baskets of fun with petting zoo animals, cookie decorating, bounce houses, bubbles, temporary tattoos, games, crafts and many more fun family activities including an egg hunt and a special visit by the Easter Bunny! Hop on out to the Liberty Memorial to join in the fun!

It's Hip to Hop Easter Event Mar. 24 from 10am-Noon at Corinth Square, 8262 Mission Rd, Prairie Village, KS. Visit the Easter Bunny, our petting zoo, enjoy Shatto Milk tastings, awesome merchant specials and giveaways and more!

Big Egg Hunt at Paradise Park Mar. 24 and Mar. 31 at Paradise Park, 1021 NE Colbern Rd, Lee's Summit, MO. Enjoy an egg-citing good time in the Outdoor Performance Garden as Paradise Park hosts its 11th annual Easter eggs-travaganza. Eggs galore, games and more spread across 3 acres! Plenty of room and plenty of eggs for everyone!

Easter Egg Hunt: Belton Mar. 24 from 10-11:15am  at Belton Memorial Park, 602 Maurer Pkwy, Belton, MO. 0-10. The event starts at 10 am with games, face painting, coloring, and a visit from the Easter Bunny with plenty of opportunities for Selfies with him! These events will take place indoors! At 11 am, we will promptly start the hunt for over 10,000 eggs!

Pancake Breakfast with the Bunny & Egg Hunt Mar. 24 from 8-11am at Turner Recreation Commission, 831 S 55th St, Kansas City, KS. Enjoy pancakes, sausage, orange juice and coffee. $5 for ages 13 and older, $4 for ages 4-12 and children 3 and under are FREE with a purchase of an adult plate. Free Egg Hunt after breakfast. Free Pictures with the Easter Bunny!

Easter Bunny’s Extreme Egg Hunt 4 start times available! Mar. 24 from 10am-1:30pm at Antioch Park, 6501 Antioch Road, Merriam, KS. $13 per person ($15 non-res), or $31 for a family-four or less ($34 non-res).  The Easter Bunny has taken the traditional egg hunt to the extreme! The only way to find those prize-filled eggs is with a Garmin GPS (Global Positioning Systems) unit! The event begins at Antioch Park Shelter #2. Lunch and pictures with the Easter Bunny included! Pre-registration required.

BoneAnza Mar. 24 from 1-2:30pm at Waggin' Trail Park, 432 NE 32nd Street, North Kansas City, MO. $5.00. Bring Fido on down to Waggin’ Trail Park to hunt for over 500 bone-filled eggs. There will be pet vendors, treats, prizes, and pictures with the Easter Bunny! The Small Dog Egg Hunt will begin at 1:30pm and the Large Dog Egg Hunt will begin at 1:45pm. $5 donation per pup!

Big Bunny Bash: Liberty Mar. 24 at 10am-Noon at Liberty Hospital, 2525 Glenn Hendren Drive, Liberty, MO. There will be egg hunts for ages 10 and under, picture spot, obstacle course and more! Plus: Liberty Police, Fire and Clay County Sheriff’s Deputies, an ambulance, Martha LaFite Nature Sanctuary and for the first time, the Liberty Public Schools’ STEAM Bus featuring Liberty Hospital’s Surgery in a Box hands on activity!

Easter Basket Packing Event Mar. 25 from 11:15-12:15 at Woods Chapel Church Missions Building, 4201 NE Lakewood Way, Lee's Summit, MO. Pack Easter baskets for children at Ronald McDonald House, Hope House, City Union Mission, and other service agencies in Kansas City! Families with children age 3 and up are encouraged to participate. Invite your friends and family to join you! Spots are limited, so be sure to register soon.

Southeast Spring Egg Hunt 2018 Mar. 25 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. at Southeast Community Center, 4201 E. 63rd Street, Kansas City, MO.  Hunt more than 4,000 eggs in Swope Park! Children ages 2 to 5 will hunt for the first 15 minutes, then ages 6 to 12 will join the search after that. Enjoy candy, treats, games and fun! ​

March 26

Spinach Home- Happy Egg Hunting! Mar. 26-31 at Spinach Home, 9005 Roe, Prairie Village, KS.  We want to welcome your kiddos into Spinach Home for some Easter egg hunting March 26-31. We have hidden eggs (think low) and invite our little Spinach Home pals to come and find the eggs and candy. We also want to invite our older Spinach Home friends to watch for our Easter flyer, which will be posted to Facebook. For every egg you find in our flyer, you can have a dollar off your purchase at Spinach Home. 

March 27

Avila University's Egg Hunt March 27 from 6:30-7:30pm at Avila Universiry, 11901 Wornall, KC, MO. Avila Campus Ministries invites alumni, friends, neighbors and their families to the annual community Easter Egg Hunt. Activities will begin at 6:30 p.m. on the quad. There will be age-appropriate egg hunts for babies up to 12 years old. Other activities will include egg coloring, crafts, snacks, face painting and, of course, a visit from the Easter Bunny - so be sure to bring your cameras. This event is free, and everyone is welcome. To RSVP, please email alumni@avila.edu and let us know how many children will be attending and their ages so we can plan accordingly. In case of inclement weather, this event will be held in the Marian Center.

March 30

Good Friday Services  March 30 from 7-8pm at Vineyard Community Church 8301 Lamar Ave, Overland Park, KS. Join us at our Good Friday service for a time of worship, meditation and time of reflection of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross.

March 31

Hoppy Easter at Summit Fair March 31 from Noon-2pm at Summit Fair, 840 NW Blue Pkwy, Lee's Summit, MO. Grab your baskets and dress in your favorite spring fashions, for a special event every-bunny in the family will love! Hop over to Summit Fair, Saturday, March 31st, from Noon-2:00p.m. for center-wide trick-or-treating  -  Easter style! Visit participating stores and restaurants and collect eggs, candy, and an assortment of sweet treats! Bring your cameras and snap a selfie with the Bunny who will be bouncing around the center. Plus, visit our balloon artists and catch a performance from children’s entertainer, Dino O’Dell! (20-minute performances at Noon, 12:40pm and 1:20pm)

Science City's Easter Eggstravaganza March 31 at Union Station, 30 W. Pershing, Kansas City, MO. Kansas City’s Science Center is hosting their annual Easter Eggstravaganza! Guests will be invited to: Hunt 3,000+ Eggs throughout the Science Center, Color Easter Eggs, Maker Easter Projects in the Maker Studio, Visit our Easter Cuties in the Nature Center, Discover Food Science in the Test Kitchen​, Take their photo with the Easter Bunny, Explore the AMAZING New Science City attractions and interactives!

Community Easter Egg Hunt March 31 from 11am-1pm at Leawood Baptist Church 8200 State Line Rd, Leawood, KS. Join us at Leawood Church for our annual Easter Egg Hunt with an egg hunt, games, food, and giveaways all free! (Weather Permitting)

How to Become an Easter Bunny March 31 from 2-3pm at Mid-Continent Public Library - Blue Springs South, 2220 S. 7 Hwy., Blue Springs, MO. FREE hop into the Library and listen to "The Story of the Easter Bunny" by Katherine Brown Tegen. Then learn how to hop like a bunny and make bunny masks! Registration is required.

Egg-Extravaganza March 31 from Noon -1pm at Mid-Continent Public Library - Raytown Branch, 6131 Raytown Road, Raytown, MO. Enjoy story time with Mayor Mike McDonough, as we take part in Raytown’s Easter festivities. After the stories, the Easter Bunny will escort the children across the street for an Easter egg hunt. Registration is required.

Egg Hunt at Black Hoof Park March 31 from 9:30-11:30am at Black Hoof Park 9053 Monticello Rd, Lenexa, KS. Hop on over for the Homes by Kyle Lee and KC King Team's day of Easter fun for all of your family and friends! FREE event with complimentary breakfast, refreshments, & a photobooth!

Downtown Bunny Hop: Lee's Summit March 31 from 10am-Noon at Downtown Lee's Summit, 3rd and Main, Lee's Summit, MO. Join the Easter Bunny for a parade down 3rd Street and the Bunny Ears and Easter Hat Contest at this year’s Downtown Bunny Hop.

Western Shawnee Easter Egg Hunt March 31 from 10am-Noon at LifeBridge Church 6601 Monticello Road, Shawnee, KS. Please join us for the Western Shawnee Easter Egg Hunt!  This year we will have inflatables, games, crafts, a petting zoo, candy (of course) and cookie decorating. We will have a Kiddie Korral for our littlest Easter Egg hunters and pictures with the Easter Bunny.We’d love to see you and your friends there. Hunt times are at 10am, 10:30am, 11am, and 11:30am.

Easter Eggstravaganza Mar 31 from 10am-Noon at Cook Center | MidAmerica Nazarene University (2030 E College Way, Olathe, KS). This free event includes egg hunt for children birth-kindergarten and inflatables, games, and prizes for children of all ages! Stop in for a little while or stay for the whole event.

Easter Egg Roll with Dole Mar. 31 from 10am-Noon at Dole Institute of Politics (2350 Petefish Dr. Lawrence, KS). Join the institute for a free morning of family fun at the annual Easter Egg Roll with Dole. This event includes a White House-style egg roll race, egg hunt, crafts, live bunnies and more.The event is on rain or shine, and all children receive a special goody bag when departing the event. Children of all ages are welcome at this free and fun family event.

Easter Egg Hunt: Open Door Bible Baptist March 31 from 10am-1pm at Open Door Bible Baptist Church, 4300 NE Parvin Rd, Kansas City, MO. Annual Easter Egg Hunt, Always HUNDREDS of eggs! Time is subject to change!

Egg Hunt: Shawnee Indian Mission March 31 at Shawnee Indian Mission Museum, 3403 W 53rd St, Fairway, KS. Bring your children and their egg basket for a fun, free morning at the Mission. We will have three separate hunts for children (based on age groups) through the Mission grounds.

Louisburg Cider Mill’s 17th Annual Easter Egg Hunt March 31 from 11am-1pm at Louisburg Cider Mill, 14730 K68 Highway, Louisburg, KS. Prizes for everyone… And one $100 egg to be found! Maybe your child will be the lucky winner! Children will be divided into two age groups: 4 years and younger and 5 years through 10 years old. Come for the hunt and have your child’s picture taken with the Easter Bunny! The Easter Bunny will be available for pictures following the hunt and will stay until 1pm. We will be closed Easter Sunday, April 1st, 2018.

Easter Egg Hunt: Bonner Springs March 31 from 9-10am at North Park Soccer Fields, 1200 South 134th Street, Bonner Springs, KS.  There are four age divisions.

Easter Egg Hunt: Faith Mission Church March 31 from 3-4pm at Faith Mission Church, 901 Brush Creek Blvd, Kansas City, MO. Bring your Easter Egg Basket and get ready to collect candy filled eggs! 

Bunny Eggstravaganza: Mission March 31 from 10am-Noon at Sylvester Powell, Jr. Community Center, 6200 Martway, Mission, KS. This exciting holiday event features egg hunts for all ages. Clowns, balloon artists and a visit from two very special Bunnies! Bring your camera and a pail to hold all your eggs, candy and prizes.

Raymore Easter Festival March 31 from 9:45am-Noon at Memorial Park, 400 S Park Ln, Raymore, MO. Egg hunt, photos with the Easter Bunny, refreshments and more!

Easter Egg Hunt & Pancake Breakfast March 31 from 10am-Noon at Woods Chapel Church Blue Springs, 3609 SW State Route 7, Blue Springs., MO Everyone is welcome to our Easter Egg Hunt & Pancake Breakfast. We'll hunt eggs, eat pancakes, play games together, and serve together. Bring your friends!

Think Spring Fling Family Frolic March 31 from 9am-3pm at Powell Gardens, 1609 N.W. U.S Highway 50, Kingsville, MO. Join us for a celebration of Spring, including the Easter bunny, storytelling by actors of the Coterie Theatre, an egg hunt, scavenger hunts, spring breakfast brunch, free activities, and professional color photos with the Easter Bunny.

April 1

Easter Sunrise Service April 1 at 6:30am at Johnson Farms (17701 S State Route D, Belton, MO). Join Johnson Farms and the surrounding community for a family friendly Easter Sunrise Service held on Easter Morning, April 1, 2018, at 6:30am. We will gather in our outdoor picnic pavilion rain or shine, so dress appropriately for outside temps. Holy Communion will be shared for those who wish to partake, and Easter pastries and hot beverages will be served. 

Easter Services  April 1 at Vineyard Community Church 8301 Lamar Ave, Overland Park, KS. Easter is the greatest celebration ever! Come join us at Vineyard Community Church as we celebrate that Jesus Christ is alive. Our service times are 9am and 10:45am. During both services there will be a time of worship, a practical message from the bible, and baptisms. Be sure to invite your family and friends. There is children's programming (6 weeks - 4th grade) during both of our morning services. We look forward to celebrating with you!

21st Annual Hyde Park Spring Frolic and Egg Hunt Apr 1 from 12:30 PM until 03:00 PM at 38th & Gillham, Kansas City, MO.  Kansas City’s biggest Easter festival offers a variety of entertaining activities for children and families, including pony rides, an obstacle course, petting zoo, face-painting, refreshments, and more.  Everything is free and open to the public. The festivities begin at 12:30 p.m. when the giant Hyde Park Bunny arrives. At 1:00 p.m., children through age 10 are invited to participate in the egg hunt, which will be organized by age groups to give every child a chance to find plenty of plastic eggs filled with candy. Activity booths and supervised games will be ongoing throughout the event, which ends a 3:00 p.m. Bring a basket or bag for the egg hunt.
