Crown Center is one of Kansas City's best-loved holiday landmarks with many great events all season long. Christmas at Crown Center is a Kansas City Tradition! With a whimsical playground, model trains traveling through a gingerbread village, visits with Santa, ice skating, and more... there is something for everyone! This holiday season, enjoy ice skating at the Crown Center Ice Terrace, live shows, and shopping all month long. Visit Santa as he makes his way to Santa's Gingerbread Station, where he resides through December 24.
Nov. 7 - Dec. 31 at Park Place, 11555 Ash Street, Leawood, KS. From gourmet pasta and seasonings to sweets and snacks, these local business owners are passionate and knowledgeable about their unique offerings.
Nov. 9 - 12 at Brookside District, 63rd & Wornall, Kansas City, MO. Kansas City’s favorite neighborhood celebrates the beginning of the 2017 holiday season with open houses, outdoor music, pop up events, and giveaways, Thursday, November 9th, 5-8 pm, with music, hot coffee and cocoa, and other celebration in the park at 63rd and Brookside Boulevard from 6 to 7:30 pm. Brookside’s Holiday Season Opener kicks off the annual Open House Weekend.
Nov. 9-11 at BeHereNow, 205 W Lexington Ave, Independence, MO. It’s time to get in the holiday spirit and start crossing people off your list! This year we are extending our hours and offering exclusive deals November 9th through 11th. There will be snacks, sales & outside vendors as well as plenty of holiday cheer. Grab your friends & family and come up to The Independence Square to get your holiday shopping on!
Nov. 10-12 at Odessa Mercantile 111 S 2nd St., Odessa, MO. With over a dozen unique shops, restaurants to visit you are sure to find plenty of holiday magic. Many of the shops will have special events and sales.
Nov. 11 at Franklin Smith Elementary Lower Level, 1609 SW Clark Rd, Blue Springs, MO. Shop over 50 booths.
Nov. 11 at Downtown Weston, MO. You can enjoy carriage rides starting at noon. “Father Christmas” arrives in Weston to officially start the holiday season. He reappears every weekend until Christmas Eve. On Nov. 11, he leads the children’s holiday parade down Main Street which begins at 5:30, and the Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony will follow at City Hall. Youth and adult carolers will add to the evening’s festive spirit and refreshments and souvenirs will be available for the children.
Nov. 11 from 10am-3pm at Kendallwood Apartment Clubhouse, 2813A NE Kendallwood Parkway, Gladstone, MO. Small craft fair features handmade arts and crafts from local artisans. Come find unique gifts and decor, conveniently located off of Antioch Road in the Northland.
Nov. 11 & 12 at Bernard Campbell Middle School, 1201 ME Colbern Road, Lee's Summit, MO. Over 100 booths, gift items, food, silent auction and Santa!
Nov. 11 at Curé of Ars Catholic School, 9403 Mission Rd, Leawood, KS. Shop over 40 artisans and vendors selling unique and upscale items in a festive atmosphere.
Nov. 16 from 5-8pm at Downtown Blue Springs, Blue Springs, MO. Downtown merchants open their doors to community members for a unique shopping experience
Nov. 17 & 18 at Lake Quivira Country Club, 100 Crescent Blvd, Lake Quivira. This holiday tradition features more than 50 local vendors offering a variety of boutique home decor, jewelry, ladies clothing/accessories, gourmet foods, children’s gifts and more.

Nov. 18 from 10am-2pm at Tomahawk Elementary School, 13820 S Brougham Drive, Olathe, KS. Shop 58 unique vendors, a Secret Santa Workshop for children to shop for others and do Make and Take crafts, photos with Santa, free card making and gift wrapping, food and beverages and a Wreath Silent Auction. This is a FREE and fun event for the whole family.
Nov. 18 from 9am-2pm at High Blue Wellness Center, 16400 N. Mullen Road, Belton, MO. More than 40 vendors. Get into the spirit of the season with free hot cocoa!
Nov 18 from 9am-2pm at Crown Toyota Used Cars, 3400 South Iowa, Lawrence, KS. The Holiday Shopping Festival brought to you by the Lawrence Journal-World is BACK…and it’s bigger and better than ever! Featuring the Lawrence Humane Society’s Photos with Santa! Free admission and open to the public! Before or after your photo, peruse the Holiday Shopping Festival – a one-stop holiday shop featuring over 50 local vendors with a wide variety of products to fulfill your holiday shopping needs. Enjoy an array of food and drinks while shopping for your loved ones. Score free on-site gift wrapping for gifts purchased at the festival, and enjoy free cookie tasting!
Nov. 19 at Community Building, 115 W 11th St., Lawrence, KS. This show is open to the public and free to attend. This annual show continues to bring artisans from all over the state and surrounding states that provide a unique atmosphere to appeal to all shoppers and craftsman!
Nov. 24 at Legends Outlets Kansas City, 1843 Village W Pkwy, Kansas City, KS. Legends Outlets will be closed on Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 23) and open at 6 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 24, for Black Friday shopping. Some store and restaurant hours on Thanksgiving and Black Friday may vary. Stay tuned for more details.
