Plaza Bunnies & Wonderland Animals Mar. 11 - Apr. 5. The Country Club Plaza makes its annual transformation into an Easter Wonderland this spring . The popular Plaza tradition brings colorful, larger-than-life bunnies and other springtime animals to the Plaza’s courtyards and street corners. Mermaid and Pomona Courtyards, on the west side of Seasons 52, are home to a lively collection of animals for children to play on, while the Easter bunnies line the Plaza’s sidewalks. Visit the Plaza on Easter Sunday for great brunches, live music from noon – 3pm in Mermaid & Penguin Courtyards, and see the Plaza Easter Bunnies and Wonderland Animals.
Naturally Dyed Eggs Mar. 19 at Powell Gardens, 1609 NW U.S. Highway 50, Kingsville. Included with admission: $10/adults, $9/seniors, $4/children 5-12, free/members. Stop by this display to discover the lost art of coloring eggs with natural dyes. Using ingredients such as red cabbage and beets, we’ll show you how to naturally color eggs in almost every hue of the rainbow. Easy-to-follow instructions are available for you to take home--just in time for Easter! And don’t miss the Spring Butterfly Exhibit, open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. inside the conservatory!
The Easter Bunny visits Crown Center Mar. 19 & 20, 25 & 26 from 12-4pm at Crown Center Shops, Level 1 Atrium, 2450 Grand Blvd., Kansas City. FREE. 816-274-8444. Meet and have your photo taken with the Easter Bunny. Photos available for a fee or you may take your own. Photo sessions from noon to 4 p.m.
Hopping Down the Bunny Trail Mar. 25 from 2-3pm at Mid-Continent Public Library-North Oak Branch, 8700 N. Oak Tfwy, Kansas City. ages 2 & up. FREE. 816-436-4385. Hop right into Easter and spring with tales and tails of famous rabbits. Storyteller Jo Ho presents some hip hop stories of Brer Rabbit and friends, Peter Rabbit, and the ever popular Easter Bunny. This program is for all ears. Registration is required.

The Thorn Mar. 25 at 7pm and Mar. 26 at 3 and 7pm at Lenexa Christian Center. Crafts, face painting, “eggciting games” and a light breakfast will be part of the morning. Don’t forget your basket for some “egg hunting”.
Downtown Bunny Hop Mar. 26 from 10am-12pm at Downtown Lee's Summit, 3rd & Main St, Lee's Summit. Children and their families are invited to join the Easter Bunny in a parade from City Hall Plaza to Howard Station Park. After the parade, kids can visit with the Easter Bunny and visit participating stores to receive free candy. There is also an Easter Bonnet Contest in Howard Station Park following the parade.
Journey to the Cross Mar. 26 from 1-3pm at Blue Ridge Bible Church, 8524 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, MO. Journey to the Cross is an outreach and educational event. Through activities based on Scripture, participants experience the joy of Palm Sunday, the disappointment of Judas' betrayal, the devastation of the crucifixion, the jubilation of the resurrection, and so much more. This family program invites children and adults to walk the path that Jesus walked. Small groups of people walk to 13 sites for activities that relate to the Passion event. At each station, their senses are engaged through experience-focused activity that teaches the biblical Passion account. This event will be FREE and open to the public.
Road to the Resurrection Mar. 26 starting at 5pm at Colonial Presbyterian. Reserved Tours beginning at 5:00 p.m. Step back in time and follow Jesus’ footsteps through the week leading up to His death and resurrection. Along the path you’ll encounter people who’ve met Jesus and become part of an incredible experience! Your personal tour will last approximately 1 hour 15 minutes but memories will last a lifetime. Breakfast with the Easter Bunny & Egg Hunt Mar. 26 from 9am-12pm at Powell Gardens, 1609 NW U.S. Highway 50, Kingsville. All (Kids 10 and younger can participate in the Egg Hunt.). Join the Easter Bunny for a morning of fun at Powell Gardens! Enjoy a Chris Cakes' pancake breakfast, storytelling with Ms. Frizzle (presented by Dawnna Morris, The Fancy Storyteller), make-and-take craft project, Spring Butterfly Exhibit, and--for kids ages 10 and younger--an Easter Egg Hunt that starts promptly at 11 a.m. on the lawn. Lord of Love Lutheran Church and Johnson Farms are hosting an Easter Sunrise Service at Johnson Farm on Sunday, March 27st at 6:30 am. Everyone is invited to come and ponder the miracle of the empty tomb and hear the good news of the risen Savior of the world! We plan our service for outdoor viewing of the sunrise, but plans are contingent upon the best weather. Dress appropriately for the current outdoor temperatures. Cotton Candy with the Easter Bunny March 27 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Topgolf 10611 Nall Avenue, Overland Park, KS. Join us for a complimentary photo with the Easter Bunny and a Free Easter-themed gift and Cotton Candy! Available for the first 200 kids playing Topgolf. No registration required. This is a KidZone event and requires at least one (1) child to be present between the ages of 6-12 years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Ollie's Egg Hunt Mar. 19 & 26 at 1:30pm at Paradise Park 1021 Ne Colbern Road, Lee's Summit. Join Ollie for an egg-citing good time in the Outdoor Performance Garden as Paradise Park hosts its 10th annual Easter Eggs-travaganza. Hundreds of hidden eggs await to be found! Plenty of Easter-themed fun for everyone. Admission to Children’s EduTainment Center is required to participate.
Easter Egg Hunt: Leavenworth, KS Mar. 19 at 1pm at 10th Avenue Park, Gatewood St, Leavenworth. For children age 12 and under. Easter-Egg Stravanganza: Blue Springs Mar. 19 from 10am-2pm at Blue Springs Rotary Park, Blue Springs. This FREE annual event is cosponsored with the Blue Springs Rotary Club. Activities include a petting zoo, play structures, and face painting. Egg hunt begins at 11 a.m. with four hunting areas divided by age. Bring cameras for photos with the Easter Bunny. This event is rain or shine.
Under Water Egg Hunt: Gladstone Mar. 19 at Gladstone Community Center, 6901 N. Holmes Street, Gladstone. Join the Gladstone Community Center Saturday, March 19th for our 7th Annual Underwater Easter Egg Hunt. For the safety and enjoyment of our participants we organize our hunts into two age groups. Your age group will enjoy 45-minutes of play time in the pool with like age participants. All participants must be accompanied by an adult dressed and ready to be in the water. Egg Hunt: Belton Mar. 19 at 10am in Memorial Park 602 Maurer Parkway, Belton. The event is free for area youth up to 10 years of age. The event kicks off at 10 am with FREE activities and a photo booth. The Egg Hunt will begin promptly at 11am on the Memorial Park ballfields. The Easter Bunny will be hiding more than 10,000 eggs!

Easter Bunny’s Extreme Egg Hunt from 11:30am-1:30pm at Antioch Park, 6501 Antioch Road, Merriam. $10 per person ($11 nonresidents) or $27 per family of four or less ($30 nonres). The Easter Bunny has taken the traditional egg hunt to the extreme this year! The only way to find those prize-filled eggs is with a GPS (Global Positioning Systems) unit! The event begins at Antioch Park Shelter #3. Each family is loaned one GPS unit and given instructions on how to use the device to find hidden eggs scattered throughout the park. After finding all the eggs, return back to the shelter for lunch and pictures with the Easter Bunny! This fun family event is just $10 per person ($11 nonresidents) or $27 per family of four or less ($30 nonresidents). Pre-registration required by March 14. Raymore Easter Festival Mar. 26 from 10am-12pm at Memorial Park, Raymore. Kids in 4th grade and under will enjoy hunting for 15,000 Easter eggs in age-appropriate areas. Raymore's Parks & Recreation department will also host refreshments, a cupcake walk, face painting, and other activities. Best of all, kids can have their photos taken with the Easter Bunny. Spring weather is unpredictable. With that in mind, the egg hunt will be held regardless of weather, so wear appropriate clothing and shoes. Remember to bring a basket.
