Oct. 22: All your favorite superheroes, princesses, and other beloved characters invade Union Station. Activities include; face painting, balloon artists, bounce houses, cookie design, costume contests, trick or treating, and so much more fun surprises!
Oct. 3-22: Make no bones about it - The Dinosaur Show is sure to tickle your funny bone and stimulate your imagination. Mesner Puppet Theater reaches into the past using hand, rod, shadow and body puppets to bring this prehistoric tale to life. Join paleontologist Dr. Dino Sawyer in exploring scientific theories (as well as some improbable ones) that explain what was and what might have been in the Age of the Dinosaurs.
Oct. 21-22, 28-29: SEA LIFE expert divers will perform this famous fall feat in our Ocean Tank on select weekends in October. Watch as they bring their pumpkin-carving skills under the sea alongside sharks, rays & dozens of species of tropical fish.

Weekends thru Oct. 22: Hoots and Howls is packed with fun for all ages! From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. you can cruise around on a pedal tractor, navigate a hay bale maze, sing along with our interactive DJ and take a ride on the Scare-o-cel. Enjoy a hayride around the Zoo and create a wild craft in the lobby. Animals are joining in the fun by smashing pumpkins at scheduled times throughout the day.
Oct. 20 & 21: This spooktacular annual festival features a one-mile path of 750 expertly carved jack-o-lanterns. Thousands of visitors to the weekend-long festival will experience the transformation of garden produce, pumpkins and gourds into a fantastic seasonal aesthetic display.
October 20, 21, 27 & 28. This annual event is a non-scary alternative designed for children ages 3-9, but children of all ages are welcome. Princesses, heroes and fairy tale characters come to life in short, 2-minute scenes along the candle lit trail. At the end of the trail, patrons can take a wagon ride by the park’s two lakes where additional attractions can be viewed.
