July 19 - 22: THE CULTURE HOUSE SUMMER BROADWAY THEATRE production has become a successful Kansas City theatre tradition! Based on the Victor Hugo novel and songs from the Disney animated feature, The Hunchback of Notre Dame showcases the film’s Academy Award-nominated score, as well as new songs by Menken and Schwartz. Peter Parnell’s new book embraces story theatre and features verbatim passages from Hugo’s gothic novel.
July 20: “KIDZ BOP Live 2018” is the ultimate family concert experience, “sung by kids for kids.” The KIDZ BOP Kids – Billboard Magazine’s #1 Kids’ Artist for eight consecutive years – will headline the new show, performing some of today’s biggest hit songs. Four KIDZ BOP Kids will take the stage for each performance, which will include innovative stage design, special effects, fan interaction and even a parent lip-sync battle to 90’s hits.
July 22-28: Dive into Shark Week at SEA LIFE! Say hello to our four species of shark, and learn the ins and outs of these sleek predators of the deep. SEA LIFE Kansas City Aquarium is home to four distinct species of shark including black tip reef shark, bamboo shark, zebra shark & nurse shark.
July 21 & 22: As the official juice drink of the Harlem Globetrotters, TUM-e YUMMIES is excited to bring you the ball handling wizardry, basketball artistry and one-of-a-kind family entertainment that thrills fans of all ages. July 21: Churn of the Century Homemade Ice Cream will be doing the churning with their 1922 Stover hit and miss engine. It is a sight to behold! In addition, the Plain Ol' A's Model A Ford Club are bringing their vintage vehicles for the social. What fun!
July 7 - 28: For the very first time, The Coterie and the White Theatre at The J join forces to create Kansas City’s first locally-produced production of the Broadway smash hit. Set in New York City at the turn of the century, Newsies tells the rousing tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a ragged band of teenaged ‘newsies,’ who dreams only of a better life far from the hardship of the streets.

thru Aug. 5: Brooke and Zeke have been cast as the leads in the school's new production of an old play about a phantom. Mysterious things start interrupting rehearsals and they have to wonder: is this someone's idea of a joke, or is the Phantom real? An adventure ensues that will bring out your inner sleuth and keep everyone in suspense until the final curtain.
