Mackenzie Peoples, is a 9 year old girl with a serious disease. Mackenzie was diagnosed in 2012 an with embryonal rhabdomyo sarcoma on her right eyelid. This is a malignant tumor. On September 21, from 5-8:30 p.m., at North Park, in Harrisonville MO, friends and family will be throwing a party to benefit this young fighter.

My Father’s Day Gift

I rolled out of my bunk at about 6:30 am, rubbed my tired eyes, and then quickly pulled on shorts and a t-shirt. As we were lining up to head to the mess-hall, my oldest son ran over and gave me a big hug and whispered “Happy Father’s Day”. This was my first “Happy Father’s Day” of the day, and one of the most special.
